With just a few days to go for the UPSC IFS Exam 2017, candidates would be looking forward to have their admit cards ready with them. According to reliable sources, it is being regarded that the admit card for UPSC IFS Exam admit card would be available in the month of May 2017. Though the date has not yet been confirmed by the UPSC authority, but usually UPSC releases the admit card 10 days before the exam. The preliminary exam will be held on 18th June 2017.

How to download admit card for UPSC IFS Exam 2017?

The admit card for UPSC IFS Exam 2017 can be downloaded by following the given steps:

Step 1- Visit UPSC’s website

The primary step is to open the internet browser and visit the official website of UPSC. All that a candidate needs is a computer and an internet connection.

Step 2- Find the admit card link

Once the website is open, as a candidate, you are required to find the link which will allow you to download the admit card. Prefer looking at the right hand side of the webpage where numerous links are present. If you are unable to find the right link, then press Ctrl + F on your keyboard. This will open a ‘find’ tab on the web page. Then type the word ‘Admit’ in it. Areas where this text appears on the web page will be automatically highlighted. Find the link for UPSC IFS admit card from there and click on it.

Step 3- Select Download E-Admit Card option

The new page will contain numerous information. From those links, select the option which is present on the extreme right à Download E-Admit Card.

Step 4- Enter your details

As soon as you click on the link, you would be redirected to a new page where you would be required to enter two information- a) registration number, b) date of birth/ profile password.

Step 5- Download Admit Card

When the above mentioned details have been entered, hit the download admit card button and your download will commence soon.

Should I save the admit card or take a print out?

It is advised to do both. Take a print out of the admit card in the first instance and then save the same for future references. Even if you lose the hard copy of your admit card, you will always have your soft copy in your computer/ mobile phone.

The admit card is a very important document with respect to the UPSC IFS Exam. Without the admit card, a candidate is not allowed to enter the examination hall. Moreover, a candidate should check his admit card carefully at the time of downloading. If there is any error, then the same is to be intimated to the UPSC authority immediately.
