The SSC Junior Engineer Exam result 2015 will be out in February 2016. Though the exact date has not been confirmed by the department, it being regarded that the first week of February 2016 would be the ideal time for its release. Candidates whose name would appear on the list will move to the next level and will set for Paper II which will carry 300 marks and would have a duration of 120 minutes/ 2 hours. How to view the SSC JE Results 2016?
Viewing the result for SSC JE Exam 2016 is pretty straight forward. Any candidate who follows the given step can easily view his result online.
Step 1- Visiting the SSC website
The very first step that a candidate needs to take is visiting the SSC website where all the information is stored. As a candidate, you are simply required to open your internet browser and type the URL: www.ssc.nic.in and hit the enter key. Within few seconds, you will be redirected to the homepage of SSC.
Step 2- Click on the Results section
On visiting the website, you would find a lot of options present in the page. Among those option, there will also be the option to view your result. To simplify, you can look towards the top of the page where there would be 6-7 tabs in blue color. The sixth tab has the text ‘Result’ written on it. You can click on that option and wait for a pop-up window to appear.
Step 3- Select your exam
As the pop up window opens up, there would be a bunch of links for various results. Under this case, look at the top left hand corner of the window where different exam names are mentioned such as CGH, CHSL, etc. The fourth among them is the JE tab; click on the same.
Step 4- View your result
Once you have successfully entered the JE section for results, you will find a link which says ‘Click here’, click on the same and a list would appear. The list if your result and will have the name of the candidates who have successfully cleared the level. You can either take a snapshot of the result or have a print out of the same.
What documents do I need for downloading my result?
You don’t need any document to download your result. The facility to browse the result is open to all and any candidate can do the same with least problems. You are neither required to enter your registration number or date of birth as you were required to do so during downloading your admit card. All that a candidate has to do is follow the above mentioned steps and he is free to browse the results.
Once your name has appeared in the exam list, you now need to download the call letter for Paper-II exam whose intimation would be given to you by the department.
